The Smoke on the Water

The unique smokey, yet sweet and refreshing flavour of Lapsang Souchong Tea is a great companion to the sweet rum notes of Ovant Royal. A spicy punch follows with the addition of ginger syrup. This is a great non-alcoholic drink for anyone who likes rum in their cocktail but wants to steer clear of its intoxicating properties. 

60 ml Ovant Royal 
60 ml Lapsang Souchong Tea 
15 ml Lemon Juice 
15 ml Ginger Syrup

Flamed Orange zest 

Brew 200ml of Lapsang Souchong tea and allow the brew to cool. 
Pour Ovant Royal, 60ml Lapsang Souchong tea, lemon juice, and ginger syrup into a mixing glass. 
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for 5 seconds. 
Strain contents of mixing glass into a coupe glass. 
Flame the orange zest and garnish.
